Farewell ceremony for Azerbaijani Energy Minister Natig Aliyev in Baku
A farewell ceremony is being held for Azerbaijan’s Minister of Energy Natig Aliyev in Baku in the Cultural Center named after Shahriyar.
The ceremony is attended by Azerbaijani statesmen, MPs, prominent businessmen, community representatives and family members of the deceased.

After the ceremony that will last until 14:00 (GMT +4 hours), Natig Aliyev will be buried at the Alley of Honor.

Natig Aliyev passed away June 9. Earlier, the minister was hospitalized due to heart problems.

Natig Aliyev was born on November 23, 1947, in Baku. During his career, he worked in various oil and gas enterprises and institutes.

Prime Minister Artur Rasizade, Presidential Administration Head Ramiz Mehdiyev, Parliament Speaker Ogtay Asadov, Deputy Prime Minister Yagub Eyyubov, Deputy Prime Minister Abid Sharifov, ministers Kemaleddin Heydarov, Ramil Usubov, Zakir Hasanov, Samir Sharifov, Abulfas Garayev, Azad Rahimov, Ramin Guluzade, Prosecutor General Zakir Garalov, SOCAR President Rovnag Abdullayev, Azerenerji OJSC Head Etibar Pirverdiyev, committee chairpersons Mubariz Gurbanli, Ramiz Hasanov, well-known businessmen Isgandar Khalilov, Vahid Alakbarov, Farhad Ahmadov, and representatives of the public attended the funeral.
