France begins voting in first round of parliamentary election
Voting got under way in France on Sunday as polling stations opened at 0600 GMT for the first round of parliamentary elections.
Opinion polls have predicted that new President Emmanuel Macron's Republic on the Move party is set to emerge from the June 18 second-round vote with a solid governing majority.
