Over 330 flights cancelled as heavy snow hits Turkey
Turkish Airlines continues to cancel domestic flights scheduled for Feb. 18-19, and there are currently 334 cancelled flights, the Milliyet newspaper reported Feb. 18.
The flights get cancelled due to the heavy snowfall in Istanbul.

Currently, the planes, which should have landed in the airports of Istanbul, were redirected to the airports in other cities of Turkey.

Earlier, Turkish Airlines cancelled 117 domestic flights scheduled for Feb. 17-18, due to the heavy snowfall in Istanbul.

Turkish media outlets reported that currently the snow depth in various parts of Istanbul stands at 40 to 60 centimeters.
