Iranian Deputy Energy Minister to visit Azerbaijan

Iranian Deputy Energy Minister to visit Azerbaijan

Iran`s Deputy Energy Minister Rahim Meydani will visit Azerbaijan on February 23, the Iranian Embassy in Azerbaijan told.

Meydani’s visit to Baku aims to conduct discussions on continuation of construction of Khudaferin and Giz galasi hydropower plants between Azerbaijani and Iranian governments, accelerate the works related to signing of an agreement on cooperation in usage of water resources.

Moreover, Managing Director of Anzali Free Trade Zone (FTZ) Reza Masroor is expected to visit Baku on February 23. During the visit, Masroor will meet with several officials of Azerbaijan and local businessmen and discuss the development of mutual investments
