Britain considers long-term cooperation with Azerbaijan
Britain is considers long-term cooperation with Azerbaijan, member of the British Parliament, Prime-Minister`s Trade Envoy to Azerbaijan, Kazakhstan and Turkmenistan, Charles Hendry said.
"As you know, the UK is one of the largest investors in Azerbaijan, and we hope to further develop our relations," Trade Envoy said.

According to him, this year is very important for the British government, as an important decision on the pipeline will be made in Azerbaijan, which is of great importance for the energy security of Europe.

The existing relationship between the two countries will continue to evolve in the future, Hendry said.

Recall that the consortium to develop Shah Deniz is currently considering two options of gas transportation to Europe - Nabucco West and TAP (Trans Adriatic Pipeline). The final decision on the choice of the pipeline route will be made this month.
