Armenia-Azerbaijan Peace Platform makes statement about recent Armenian vandalism
Armenia-Azerbaijan Peace Platform makes statement on the battles near contact line of troops, AzVision.az reports.
The statement reads that Peace Platform deeply regrets on the renewed violence late in the evening on July 4 at Alkhanli village of Azerbaijan's Fizuli region that resulted in killing of Allahverdiyeva Sahiba and her 2-years old granddaughter Zahra Guliyeva.

"Such incidents deepen hatred and inflame enmity between the two neighbor peoples. As long as there is no cardinal progress in the negotiations between Armenia and Azerbaijan, the likelihood of war between the two countries that could lead to terrible consequences will continue to be on the rise. To prevent this, those wishing to establish peace and security in the region, as well as international organizations, must take realistic steps as soon as possible. As the Armenia-Azerbaijan Peace Platform, we once again wish patience for the families of those killed during this incident and call on the parties to observe the ceasefire in order to avoid further losses and hope for an early resolution of the conflict by peaceful means,” said the statement."
