Armed people attack residence of Kenya's Deputy President
A group of armed people attacked the residence of Kenya's Deputy President William Ruto, who was not in the building at the moment of the attack, local media reported on Saturday.
According to the KTN News broadcaster, the Kenyan official left the residence situated at the administrative area of Sugoi just a few minutes before the incident.

The news outlet added that police had cordoned off the building. A heave exchange of fire between law enforcement officers and the attackers have been reported.

At least one Kenya's General Service Unit (GSU) officer was injured in the clashes, the media outlet added.
