Germany's police do not consider that the deadly shooting that took place at a nightclub in the country's southern city of Konstanz was terrorism related, local media reported Sunday.
Earlier in the day, a 34-year-old man opened fire at the nightclub killing one person and injuring three others. After the shooting the man left the club, but he was wounded in a skirmish with police officers and later died.
According to the Suedwest Presse newspaper, the investigators have ruled out terrorism in the incident.
Media reported that the shooter was of Iraqi origin and had lived in the German city for a long time. Police had not confirmed this information yet.
