Earthquake strikes Turkish holiday resort weeks after another killer quake -UPDATED
An earthquake with a magnitude of 5.3 has struck close to the Turkish resort of Bodrum.
A powerful earthquake rocked holiday resorts in Turkey and Greece on July 21 prompting hordes of tourists to flee to the aiport in a desperate bid to get home.

The 6.7 magnitude earthquake struck south of the Turkish city of Bodrum and east of the Greek island of Kos – areas popular with British holidaymakers.

Thousands of Brits caught up in a 6.7 magnitude quake were seen running for their lives as tremors shook buildings and beachfront hotels were flooded.

The government warned British holidaymakers faced certain travel disruption at what is the busiest time of year – and it is likely to be the similar after today’s quake.

It’s after two men; a 22-year-old from Sweden and a 39-year-old from Turkey, were confirmed dead in last month’s huge earthquake.

The pair were reportedly killed by a collapsed ceiling at the White Corner Club bar at around 1.30am.

Police said another man from Sweden lost both of his legs.
