Acting chairman of the company Saleh Mammadov provided extensive information about the terrible tragedy - the Khojaly genocide- in the recent history of our people.
Mammadov assessed the Khojaly genocide as the most terrible tragedy of the 20th century and informed about other atrocities committed by Armenians against our people. He noted that though 23 years have passed, our people always feel this pain.
The acting chairman noted that the Khojaly genocide received a legal political assessment to Khojaly genocide only after Heydar Aliyev returned to power. He stressed the importance of the events held in different countries in relation to this tragedy.
Important steps are taken in this direction as a result of the successful foreign policy of President Ilham Aliyev.
Deputy chairman of first party YAP of Azeryolservis of the Ministry of Transport Avaz Gojayev assessed the Khojaly genocide as a bloody event in the history of humankind and noted that hundreds of unamed people- elderly, young peole, women and children were brutally murdered and the city was razed to the ground.
Unfortunately, at that time the population of Khojaly did not get any support in the fight with Armenian separatists and the information about this genocide was not spread.
