First Baku-2015 European Games presentation to be held in Rome
The Italian capital, Rome will host a presentation of Baku-2015 European Games, the message of the ministry of youth and sport of Azerbaijan said Mar.4.

In this regard, the Minister of Youth and Sports Azad Rahimov is on an official visit to Italy, said the ministry.

Presentation, which will be held today at the National Gallery of Modern Art (Galleria nazionale d`arte moderna) in Rome, will be attended by the President of the European Olympic Committee Patrick Hickey, the President of the National Olympic Committee of Italy Giovanni Malago, Education Minister of Italy Stefania Giannini and other officials.
During the presentation of the Baku-2015 European Games about 300 guests will be able to see an exhibition reflecting the culture, history and traditions of Azerbaijan.
At the end of the event a concert program will be organized for the attenders.

Baku 2015 is the first ever European Games, an exciting and innovative multi-sport event for the continent which will take place on June 12-28, 2015.

There will be a total of 20 sports at Baku 2015: 16 Olympic sports and four non-Olympic sports. More than 6,000 athletes from across Europe will be representing their nations over 17 days of competition.

Baku was awarded the games by the European Olympic Committees (EOC) in December 2012.
