Iran
Zarif made the remarks in a speech to the Assembly of Experts on the process of nuclear negotiations with the P5+1.

He took part at the 17th meeting of the Assembly on March 10 to outline Iran`s achievements in its nuclear talks, the country’s official IRNA news agency reported.

Dignity and self-confidence are among the Iranian people`s assets and this could not be taken from them, he said, adding that both the US and the West have admitted this fact.

He thanked the Supreme Leader, Ayatollah Ali Khamenei for backing the Iranian nuclear negotiators and briefed the assembly members on the latest developments in nuclear talks, measures taken by Iranian nuclear negotiators in this respect and the country`s foreign policy at international fora.

The enemies of Islam have resorted to Islamophobia, Iranophobia and supporting terrorist groups under the guise of freedom to attain their goals, he said.

`The art of diplomacy is to lessen the cost of events and from early days of the formation of the eleventh government, we have pursued the same goal,` he said.

Referring to the letter sent by 47 US senators on nullification of all accords after termination of Barack Obama`s presidency, he said the move was very unprecedented and non-diplomatic, indicating that the United States of America is not trustworthy.

The Iranian nuclear negotiating team is will spare no effort to clinch a desirable deal, he said.

Iran`s successful diplomacy manage to change the views of foreign negotiators on Iran, he said adding that talks with Americans due to presence of hardliners in the US Senate have created some problems but Iran is determined to achieve a desirable result.
