Helicopter crashes in Russia, two people dead

A privately owned helicopter went missing on Tuesday morning in the Tambov Region in Central Russia.

"The helicopter's wreckage was discovered one kilometer from the Shinovka locality of the Kirsanovsky district of the Tambov Region," a source in the regional emergencies services said, adding that the pilot and passenger died.

The private chopper took to the air on Monday evening. On early Tuesday, vehicle failed to come on the radio, according to the emergencies services.

It has been reported that the pilot and the passenger were the only persons aboard the helicopter.
