Maximum efforts needed to reach consensus on the Caspian Sea Legal Status - Azerbaijani FM
It is necessary to make maximum efforts to reach consensus on issues that remain open until the fifth summit of the Caspian littoral states planned to be held in Kazakhstan.
Azerbaijan's Foreign Minister Elmar Mammadyarov made the remark at a meeting of the Caspian littoral states' foreign ministers in Moscow on Dec. 5, the Foreign Ministry told, AzVision.az reports citing Trend.

“Yesterday we discussed these issues. I think there are good opportunities for moving forward,” Mammadyarov said.

Mammadyarov added that the entire period of the negotiations on the legal status of the Caspian Sea is of historical importance in terms of strengthening good-neighbourly relations and promoting cooperation and prosperity in the region.
