Turkey condemns 'irresponsible' US recognition of Jerusalem as Israeli capital

Turkey has condemned the "irresponsible statement of the U.S. administration" recognizing Jerusalem as the capital of Israel.
Foreign Minister Mevlüt Çavuşoğlu responded on Twitter, saying: "We are deeply anxious and condemn the irresponsible statement of U.S. administration that it has recognized Jerusalem as Israel's capital and that it will move its embassy in Israel to Jerusalem. This decision is a clear violation of international law and relevant U.N. resolutions."
