Protest action in front of UN and Council of Europe office in Yerevan
Members of the Front "For the sake of Armenia" held arotest action in front of UN and Council of Europe office in Yerevan shouting slogans of "Freedom for political prisoners", AzVision.az reports citing Armenian Media.
Protesters submitted complaint letters to the representatives of international institutions. They demanded the soonest freedom for the political prisoners.

Armenia failed to secure decent protection of human rights, Vardan Harutyunyan the chairman of “Law and Freedom Center” NGO told.

Talking about the falsification of election results, disregarding of human rights in Armenia, the Chairman of Helsinki Citizens' Assembly Vanadzor Office Artur Sakunts added that these negative cases increase the number of people leaving country.

Note, Front "For the sake of Armenia" was established a month ago. Majority of the union's members are the Jirayr Sefilyan's supporters who was arrested on June 20, 2016, after authorities said he and his supporters were preparing a plot to seize several government buildings and telecommunications facilities in Yerevan.
