55 injured in 6.1-magnitude quake in Kerman, Iran
At least 55 people were injured following the earthquake measuring 6.1 on the Richter scale that jolted Hojadk city in Iran's Kerman Province Wednesday morning, XINHUANET reports.
The epicenter of the tremor, which took place at the 1:11 a.m. local time (2141 GMT), was determined at the depth of 10 km, 30.8372 degrees north latitude and 57.2731 degrees east longitude.

On Tuesday, another earthquake measuring 6.2 magnitude on the Richter Scale shook Hojadk city, injuring 18 people.

The two successive earthquakes in less than 24 hours in Hojadk have caused panic and made people stay out of their houses overnight in cold weather.
