We rely on Azerbaijan, says Latvian FM

We rely on Azerbaijan in terms of energy security is one of the priorities for the European Union, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Latvia, Edgars Rinkēvičs told, AzVision.az reports citing AzerTag.
"We are pleased with the good relations between Azerbaijan and Latvia following the Azerbaijani president Ilham Aliyev's visit to Latvia and Latvian president Raimonds Vējonis's visit to Azerbaijan. I want to remind you that I visited Azerbaijan to discuss the bilateral relations between both countries and the issues of current importance in the Eastern Partnership, international and regional relations. The primary goal of our relations is to establish multilateral cooperation. The cooperation in economic level plays a very important role. The presidents of Azerbaijan and Latvia signed a Joint Declaration regarding the Strategic Partnership during the Ilham Aliyev's visit. This is an impetus to develop our relations", Rinkēvičs said while commenting on the current state of Azerbaijan-Latvia ties.
