"On the commemoration day of the martyrs of Sarikamis operation, we do remember the help of Azerbaijani people to the Turkish soldiers who were kept in captivity in the Nargin Island. It was a good example of the concept of "one nation, two states", Chief of Staff of the Republic of Turkey Hulusi Akar told at the event dedicated to the 130th year of Sarikamis operation, AzVision.az reports citing Hurriyet.
"We express our deepest gratitude and respect to our Azerbaijani brothers, the Turkish Armed Forces," he said.
