Asadov said Robert Walter is on a difficult mission, expressing confidence that he would successfully accomplish this mission, the Azerbaijani Parliament told.
The speaker welcomed Walter’s fair and principal activity, noting that Armenia demonstrates a destructive position against the CoE resolutions on the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict.
Robert Walter said in his turn that he has to compile a report on escalating tension observed in Nagorno-Karabakh and other occupied territories over recent times, adding that the report will reflect processes seen over the last 20 years, reasons behind the conflict still being unsettled, and problems of the people who became IDPs and refugees as a result of the conflict.
