Azerbaijan, Saudi Arabia to create working group on energy

Azerbaijan, Saudi Arabia to create working group on energy

Azerbaijan and Saudi Arabia have agreed to create a working group for developing bilateral energy cooperation, said a message from Azerbaijan’s Energy Ministry.

The agreement was reached during the visit of Azerbaijan’s Energy Minister Parviz Shahbazov to Saudi Arabia.

The proposal put forward by Saudi Arabia’s Ministry of Energy, Industry and Mineral Resources to create a working group between the relevant ministries of the two countries was accepted by the Azerbaijani side.

During the meeting between Parviz Shahbazov and Saudi Arabia’s Minister of Energy, Industry and Mineral Resources Khalid A. Al-Falih, it was noted that creation of this working group will play an important role in the implementation of joint energy projects.
