Deputy Foreign Minister of Russia Grigory Karasin and acting Co-chair of the UN’s Geneva discussions on South Caucasus Levent Bilman have discussed the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict in Moscow, Defence.az reported citing the Russian foreign ministry’s press service.
The sides touched upon the ways of solution to the conflict, especially the Geneva discussions on security and stability in the Caucasus.
The UN representative also discussed with the Russian official the situation in the eastern Ukraine, peace and security issues and the settlement of the Nagorno Karabakh conflict emphasizing the role of the UN in prevention of conflicts.
