Turkish, Iranian, Russian presidents to meet in Istanbul
Presidents of Turkey, Iran and Russia, Recep Tayyip Erdogan, Hassan Rouhani and Vladimir Putin will hold a meeting in Istanbul, Turkish media reported Feb. 8.  

Reportedly, the parties will discuss the Operation Olive Branch in Syria’s Afrin during the meeting.

The settlement of the Syrian crisis is also expected to be discussed during the Istanbul meeting.

There have been no reports on the date of the presidents’ meeting.

On Jan. 20, the Turkish Armed Forces, together with the Free Syrian Army, launched the Operation Olive Branch in Afrin, Syria.
