Azerbaijan reveals planned investments in new industrial zone
The planned value of investments in Azerbaijan’s Hajigabul industrial zone will amount to 43 million manats, Deputy Economy Minister Niyazi Safarov said.

He made the remarks at a meeting with entrepreneurs, Azerbaijan’s Economy Ministry said in a message Feb. 16.

He said it is planned to create facilities engaged in heavy engineering, railcar building as well as production of composite and construction materials, plastic containers and equipment for cars in the industrial zone.

“As part of these projects, it is planned to invest 43 million manats in the industrial zone,” Safarov said. “This will make it possible to create more than 850 jobs. ATEF Industrial Complex CJSC, the first resident of the industrial zone, has already been registered. The first stage of construction in the industrial zone is scheduled for completion in the third quarter of 2018.”
