Ukraine's Minister of Education said Hungarian Minister on accusations of lying

The Minister of Education Lilia Grinevich declared that the charges of the foreign Minister of Hungary péter Szijjártó that representatives of the Hungarian community of Transcarpathia was not invited to consultations on changes to the law on education, not true.

She said this to journalists after a round table, reports UKRINFORM.

“That’s not true, because we have all the confirmation about the invitation (the Hungarian minority – ed). Moreover, I know that some of those who had to go to these consultations, already had purchased tickets to Kiev, but at the last moment for some reason changed this position,” – said Grinevich.

Szijjártó informed accused Ukraine of launching “an international campaign of lies” about the education act and stated that the Ukrainian authorities allegedly not invited Hungarians in Transcarpathia in the consultations on linguistic norm of this document.
