Albanian President Ilir Meta touched on the importance of the sixth Global Baku Forum titled “Bridging Gaps to Create Inclusive Societies”. Ilir Meta also expressed his appreciation regarding Azerbaijani president’s initiatives in terms of strengthening bilateral relations and cooperation stating Baku’s contribution to the international cooperation.
Albanian President also stressed the successful implementation of TAP project in Albania that is essential to meet Albania’s demand for gas.
Bilateral relations between Azerbaijan and Albania, as well as other issues of mutual interest, have been discussed during the meeting.
Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev emphasized that the projects that have been implemented together with Albania strengthened the cooperation between the two countries.
