The president made the remarks at a ceremony on Friday marking the completion of the project on the reconstruction of drinking water supply systems and establishment of sewage network in the city of Khizi and Altiaghaj settlement.
The supply of drinking water to Khizi is a remarkable event, said President Aliyev.
“Social issues have been resolved in Khizi. The implementation of projects such as gasification, electricity supply and construction of rural roads is successfully continuing in the district. Productivity will increase after the development of agriculture and commissioning of new irrigated lands,” he added.
The head of state emphasized that the unity between the Azerbaijani people and the government is strengthening day by day.

Azerbaijan’s President Ilham Aliyev attended a ceremony to launch drinking water supply and sewage systems in the city of Khizi and Altiaghac settlement.
President Ilham Aliyev firstly met with representatives of the district’s public, APA reports.
Chairman of Azersu OJSC Gorkhmaz Huseynov informed the head of state about the work carried out within the framework of the project.
