“84 million tons of oil have been transported via the Baku-Supsa pipeline so far,” Azerbaijani Energy Minister Parviz Shahbazov said in an article published in “Azerbaijan” newspaper.
The minister noted that commissioned in 1999, the Western (Baku-Supsa) export pipeline was the first line providing Azerbaijan with an independent route to the world market and ensuring international support to energy security.
