UN Security Council not preparing resolutions on Iran
It is early to speak about drafting the UN Security Council
"There are now no discussions at the Council on Iran. The whole work is focused in Geneva," one of the diplomats said. Another diplomat said he is confident that the UN Security Council is not planning to deal with the issue until a comprehensive deal is reached by June 30.

"I think all the talks on any resolution are premature. There is still a lot of work to do on the final deal and the action plan. The results of talks in Lausanne will be further discussed in the capitals of the six powers and also in Geneva. There is still a lot of time until June 30 and at the moment there are no any gestures here, in New York," a Western diplomat said.

EU foreign policy chief Federica Mogherini said in joint statement with Iranian Foreign Minister Javad Zarif in Switzerland’s Lausanne the future deal on the nuclear program should be endorsed by the UN Security Council resolution.

"A new UN Security Council Resolution will endorse the JCPOA, terminate all previous nuclear-related resolutions and incorporate certain restrictive measures for a mutually agreed period of time," Mogherini said.

Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Sergey Ryabkov told reporters that the key solutions on sanctions and wordings of the UN Security Council resolutions are yet to be found.
