Vice-Speaker of the Azerbaijani Parliament, Bahar Muradova told Tukish media representatives who are on a visit to Azerbaijan.
She expressed concern that some international circles seek to use sports as a political tool.
“This is unacceptable. And such a smear campaign launched against Azerbaijan cannot be accepted in any way. So I think our media too should do something in response to that campaign. To do that, both Azerbaijani and Turkish media must put together some joint work. Nevertheless, Azerbaijan will successfully host the first European Games,” she stressed.
