The United States strongly supports the Southern Gas Corridor, Deputy Assistant Secretary of State in the Bureau of Energy Resources Sandra Oudkirk said in Baku on Tuesday, AzVision.az reports.
"The U.S. unambiguously supports the implementation of the Southern Gas Corridor Project. I congratulate all countries and companies on the completion of this difficult task, which will ensure stability in the region and diversification of energy resources," she said.
"The U.S. President Donald Trump also expresses his support for the project," Oudkirk added.
