Seven Azerbaijanis arrive in Istanbul after Yemen evacuation

Seven Azerbaijanis arrive in Istanbul after Yemen evacuation

All the Azerbaijanis have been evacuated from the Yemeni capital of Sanaa, Second Secretary of the Azerbaijani Embassy in Saudi Arabia, as well as accredited in Yemen, Consul Emil Gasimzade told.

The consul said that the Turkish government facilitated the evacuation of the last Azerbaijanis from Yemen.

“7 Azerbaijanis were evacuated from Sana`a International Airport through Turkey yesterday. They flew directly to Istanbul by plane. There is no Azerbaijani waiting at Sana airport for evacuation,” Gasimzade added.

Two Azerbaijani citizens were evacuated from Yemen by Russian plane on April 2.
