One of the engines of an Iranian Qeshm Air passenger plane exploded as the aircraft was preparing for takeoff at the ?stanbul Atat
Passengers boarded the Tehran-bound Airbus-300B4 aircraft at 4.30 p.m. and the aircraft was preparing to make its way onto the takeoff runway when its right engine suddenly exploded and caught on fire. The pilot was able to stop the plane and ambulances and firefighters were dispatched to the scene of the accident.

The explosion damaged the aircraft’s landing gear.

Passengers safely disembarked the plane and were sent to Tehran with another aircraft.
