He mentioned that the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development praised the significant progress made in the fight against corruption in our country, the Azerbaijani government`s anti-corruption steps, as well as the adoption of new legislation and the activity of Anti-Corruption Department under Prosecutor General. Aliyev also said that the Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development (OECD) described the Anti-Corruption Department under Prosecutor General as a successful model for other countries and evaluated the activities of the ASAN service centers, an Azerbaijani brand, as the most successful preventive measure.
Furthermore, it was noted that Azerbaijan is one of the countries which have succeeded in 4 evaluation rounds of the Council of Europe`s Group of States against corruption (GRECO). Compliance reports on our country have been adopted in each evaluation round.
